2. Services Provided

LB Lawn & Hardscapes provides professional lawn care, landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and drainage services in the Roanoke, Pulaski, Radford, Wytheville, Virginia area. Specific services, scope of work, timelines, and pricing will be outlined in individual service agreements or quotes provided to each client before work begins.

3. Service Agreements & Estimates

All work performed by LB Lawn & Hardscapes is subject to a written or verbal agreement between the client and our team. Estimates and quotes are provided based on the information available at the time of assessment. Actual costs may vary if site conditions differ from what was initially assessed. Any changes in scope or additional work will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in each individual service agreement or invoice
For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins
Final payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in the service agreement
We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated at the time of service

5. Scheduling & Weather

We make every effort to adhere to scheduled service dates. However, lawn care and hardscape work is weather-dependent. In the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, services may be rescheduled. We will communicate any schedule changes as promptly as possible. Recurring services (e.g., lawn mowing, maintenance) will follow a regular schedule agreed upon at the start of the service period.

6. Cancellation Policy

Recurring Services: Clients may cancel recurring services with at least 7 days' written notice
Scheduled Projects: Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled project start date may be subject to a cancellation fee
Deposits: Deposits for hardscape or large-scale projects may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered or work has begun

7. Limitation of Liability

LB Lawn & Hardscapes strives to deliver high-quality results on every project. However:

We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, pipes, or cables that are not properly marked before work begins. It is the client's responsibility to have utilities marked (call 811) before any excavation or grading work
Natural elements such as plant survival, weather damage, or soil conditions are beyond our control. While we use best practices, we cannot guarantee outcomes affected by nature
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, wear and tear, or damage caused by third parties after our work is completed

8. Property Access & Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the service area. This includes securing pets, removing personal items from the work zone, and ensuring gates are accessible. If we are unable to access the property or work area at the scheduled time, a trip charge or rescheduling fee may apply.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with any service provided, please contact us within 7 days of service completion so we can address your concerns. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing any legal action. Any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
