Fire Pit & Seating Area in Roanoke, VA
A Roanoke family wanted a place to gather outdoors year-round. We built a paver fire pit with a surrounding seating area that became the highlight of their backyard.

The Challenge
The backyard had plenty of open space but no focal point or reason to spend time outside in the evenings. The homeowners wanted a warm, inviting gathering spot for family and friends.
Our Process
Layout & Design
We positioned the fire pit and seating area for comfortable flow, safe clearances, and the best backyard views.
Base Preparation
A compacted gravel and sand base was built to keep the pavers stable and level.
Fire Pit Construction
The fire pit was assembled with fire-rated block for safe, lasting performance.
Paver Seating Area
Surrounding pavers were laid and locked in to define a clean, usable gathering space.
Finishing
Joints were sanded and compacted, and the area was cleaned up for immediate enjoyment.

The fire pit and seating area became the family's favorite spot to unwind. It extended their usable outdoor season well into the cooler months and added real value to the home.
